Our class did inquiry in groups on the following questions:
What makes me special
What makes our whanau special
What makes Riverslea School Special
Each group took the following steps:
A brainstorm using inspiration on IPADS
Then did "Te Mahi" group poster on information for their question
Then using Comic life on IPAdS collated information
Groups then shared work done with senior students in the school for their reflection
Then students completed an individual assessment of the Inquiry experience for them
Student reflection:
Voice of Sire-Ray- when we wrote about the things on our IPAD and when people helped me with some words .it was fun and enjoyable .
Wednesday 2 July:
We had Nan and Papa day… The school welcomed them and sang some waiata… Then they came to our classrooms to present our “Duffy Books”… They then had a hangi for lunch
Sire-Ray thoughts:
I loved having Nan and Granddad at school they were happy to see my work and meet my friends. I love our photo Matariki
